A.V. Retriever Open Walked-up Test (Limited to 30 dogs)
Start at 9.30am prompt.
Entries close: Monday 4th May 2019.
This test will be limited to 30 dogs and will be run along field trial lines. If necessary qualifications may be used giving preference to dogs which have gained a place or certificate of merit at a Field Trial, been placed First, Second or Third in an Open Gundog Working Test, or won a Novice Gundog Working Test. Please complete Qualifications on Entry Form. Preference of a member’s dogs (if more than one) must appear on the entry form Preference of a member’s dogs (if more than one) must appear on the entry form. A.V. Retriever Puppy Safari Working Test & Novice Walked-up Test
Puppies will start at 9.30am prompt, followed by Novice Walked-up. Novice competitors should be on the ground by 10am for prompt 10.30am start.
Entries close: Monday 1st June 2020.
A puppy is any dog or bitch which is under 18 months of age on the day BEFORE the test. I.E puppies born on or after 06.12.18. The novice test will be limited to 30 Dogs (maximum 2 dogs/handler) and will be run along Field Trial lines. Substitution of Dogs – Preference of a member’s dogs (if more than one) must appear on the entry form. There is to be no substituting of dogs whilst reserves still stand.

Entry Fee per Dog: Paid-up Members £5 (+50p for online entries for paypal costs), Non-members £15.
Only FTMS online entries or postal applications of entry forms with entry fee are accepted – NO EMAILS. Please make cheques payable to “Burns and Becks Gundog Club” (Entry fees are not normally refundable). The closing date is the Monday prior to the test. Late entries/entries on the day will not be accepted.
Tests are run under Kennel Club Working Test Rules and Regulations. No competing dogs to be run over the course except at the request of the judges. No bitches in season on the ground please.
Risk Management: As in previous years the club will take all reasonable measures to ensure the safety of competitors and their dogs at tests, including contact with local vets ensuring that snake anti-venom is available in the very unlikely event that this may occur.
